Micromax’s upcoming flagship device Micromax Canvas 4 has created nothing short of a storm. If the list of the rumored specs are to be believed the device is set to bring some premium features seen on high-end devices at a affordable cost. Micromax has been vying the 20K plus market for a while and the introduction of its well specced phablet – Canvas 4 it may just have what it needs to make the smooth transition.
The device which is officially set to be unveiled next week on June 28 is believed to pack in a 5-inch full HD screen, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and 1.7GHz quad-core processor along with a 2GB RAM for smooth navigation and browsing experience. The device also reportedly brings onboard a massive 13-megapixel primary camera on the top left corner of its rear panel, in addition to a secondary 1.3-megapixel camera.
One of the many teasers released by the indigenous company hints at a new innovative screen un-locking feature in the device. The teaser which poked fun at other brands for its slide, swipe and button-based screen un-locking techniques with the tagline:’ Slide, Swipe, Press to unlock….What’s next’? hints at the introduction of a gesture control unlocking feature most likely a face-recognition technique.
