HTC MIGHT BE WORKING ON A WINDOWS PHONE 8 VERSION OF THE ONE

HTC is very happy with the way their Android flagship, the HTC One, turned out and how well it’s been selling as a result. And as such, the company is planning on released variants of said flagship phone, such as the HTC One: Google Edition, the rumored HTC One Mini, and a larger HTC One MAX. What noone really expected though, was a Windows Phone version of the HTC One.

HTC MIGHT BE WORKING ON A WINDOWS PHONE 8 VERSION OF THE ONE
And hey, whatchyaknow, apparently HTC might be working on a Windows Phone 8 version of the One. The design is apparently, not identical but will be similar with the same metal construction. Apparently HTC is hoping to ship it with the same 1080p display with a screen size in the 4.7 to 5-inch range, but that depends on the phone running the WP8 GDR3 software that enables support for that resolution.

If this turns out to be true, I’m not entirely sure how successful it would be. Arguably, the HTC One has been doing so well because of the software features it offers in addition to the hardware. Or maybe HTC figures that people want an all-aluminium Windows Phone?
