Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Y1 Lite Limited Stock Available In Idris Electronics Raipur Authorised Dealer of Xiaomi Mobiles
Xiaomi’s latest budget phone – Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite was launched in India a couple of weeks ago. Both the smartphones went on sale in India for the first time on November 8, but went out-of-stock in no time. Xiaomi India VP and Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain claimed that over 1.5 lakh Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite units have been sold out in just 3 minutes. Both the smartphones are set to go on sale for the second time tomorrow at 12 noon. Consumers will be able to buy the phones either from Mi Preferred Partner store or website.
On the camera department, Redmi Y1 comes with a 16-megapixel front camera with LED flash. The selfie camera also captures good pictures in low light conditions. It also comes with features like Beautify 3.0 which will apparently help capture good selfies. Redmi Y1 Lite comes with a 5-megapixel sensor on the front. On the back, both the Redmi phones come with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera which is also coupled with PDAF and LED flash.
On the display front, both the phones — Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite come with 5.5-inch HD (720p) display. The phones display is further protected with a curved 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front. The battery setup of both the devices is same. Both Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite have backed a 3,080mAh battery.
Redmi Y1 – which is a souped-up Y1 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. There’s also a 3GB RAM version of the Redmi Y1. While the Lite version comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Although both Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite come with the similar design and are alike in terms of some specs as well, the former comes with a fingerprint scanner, while the Y1 Lite, much like the Redmi 4A, and doesn’t ship with a fingerprint scanner.
