The Moto G Turbo Edition is a more rugged, high spec variant of the affordable original: It packs IP67 certification and can survive being submerged in up to a meter of water for an impressive 30 minutes. The phone packs a 5-inch Standard HD (720p) display with Gorilla Glass 3, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2470 mAh battery compatible with Motorola TurboPower (Quick Charging 2.0). The device supports microSD and ships with Android 5.1.1
For reference, the standard retail model variant of the Moto G (2015) lacks IP67 certification (it only has IPX7), has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of on-board storage. Those who wish to customize in Moto Maker are able to double the RAM and storage (to 2GB and 16GB respectively) however the SoC are fixed and TurboPower is not supported.
