The companyhas strategic plans to face this competition, the company has recently launched the Galaxy Neo smartphone to compete in the budget category. This smartphone is a cheaper variant to the Galaxy Grand 2 with a little smaller display.The Galaxy Grand Neo comes with minor upgrades over the original Galaxy Grand while it has some downgrades over the latest Grand 2 smartphone. This smartphone comes with the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System, it comes with Android Playstore on board allowing the user to download multiple apps and games to enhance the user experience. This smartphone has a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor on board coupled with 1GB RAM.The Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 5-inch Multi touch capacitive WVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, it has a density of 186 pixels per inch. The display on this smartphone is based on TFT technology and comes with support for 16-million colors. It is equipped with Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensors and Digital compass. This device draws its power from a 2,100mAH battery.The device comes with downgrades on the camera department, this device has a 5MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash abode. There is also a VGA resolution front facing camera on this device for video calling. Just like the older Galaxy grand this one also comes with an 8GB ROM and allows memory expansion up to 64GB using Micro SD cards.This smartphone comes in 2 variants, one with Single SIM slot and another with Dual SIM slots. It supports 3G on dual bands and allows the users to connect to high speed mobile broadband using the same.
