Apple and Samsung are going to be partners again soon as stated by Korea economic daily. Both the companies don’t have friendship but mutually beneficial agreements have been popped up between the two every now and then. Both the companies have signed an agreement about the next generation of IPhone processors.
Samsung will be the chief supplier for Apple’s line up of IPhone products but this relationship will end as soon as the agreement between the two gets expired.
News from Korean economic daily was that Samsung will provide 14nm A9 chips for Apple’s next generation IPhone and both the companies will come up together in 2015 as expected. The handset will be released in the second half of 2015.
Apple has already signed an agreement with TSMC but it would go back to Samsung just because of 14nm technology. That sounds interesting. The company needs to sign deals with other manufactures also for steady supply of future chips.
