OnePlus just unveiled a new smartphone at its event in London. OnePlus 7T Pro along with the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren launched tonight. The company also globally unveiled the OnePlus 7T which debuted in India last month.
OnePlus 7T Pro comes with upgrades under the hood like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 4,085mAh battery and Warp Charge 30T. The smartphone features the same design as OnePlus 7 Pro but in new colour. OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren edition features the F1 racing team’s design elements. There are papaya orange accents around the smartphone along with software customisation as well.
OnePlus unveils the upgraded ‘T’ version of OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus 7T Pro features a QHD+ 90Hz display with curved edges, pop-up selfie camera and Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It comes with a 4,085mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T. OnePlus 7T Pro also runs on OxygenOS 10 out-of-the-box.
New features on OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10 include new time intervals of 20, 30 and 60 minutes in ‘Zen Mode’. Gallery gets smarter on OxygenOS 10 as it now recognises photos based on people, location and events. OxygenOS brings new customisations like dark mode and new colours for ‘Horizon Light’. OnePlus also announced it is working on instant translation for video calling globally.
OnePlus 7T Pro will offer incremental upgrades over the OnePlus 7 Pro. The smartphone is also said to feature a design similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro. Accumulating past leaks and speculations, OnePlus 7T Pro is an upgrade but not necessarily a major one over OnePlus 7 Pro. Those who have already purchased the OnePlus 7 Pro can hang tight to the phone.
