Gionee Pioneer P3 sports a 4.3 inch TFT WVGA display, which although not as vibrant as an IPS display, it pretty decent. The display resolution is 800×480 pixels and has a capability to show 16M colours. Underneath the hood, the 1.3 GHz Quad core processor is powered by AndroidÂs latest offering, the JellyBean v4.2.2 OS. It is augmented by a 512MB RAM.
Camera and Memory
The 5MP camera that the device flaunts is good to take quality pictures. The attached LED flash helps you to use it in poor lighting conditions as well. The VGA front facing camera is suitable for video calling on the 3G network and Skype. The phone comes bundled with a 4GB internal memory out of which about 2GB is available to the user and this is expandable to 32GB via a microSD slot for media and app storage.
Connectivity and Battery
Being a dual sim with HSDPA 3G connectivity, this phone is not lacking in connectivity department. Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 , EDGE are also offered. The battery at 1700mAH is pretty average and will last a whole day on moderate usage.
